Micah 5:4-5
He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the end of the earth. And he will be their peace.
Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

two verses from the past 2 days..... (working thru the OT prophets)
"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land -- not a famine of food or thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it." Amos 8:11-12
"Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD." Jonah 2:8-9

verses
i've decided i may periodically (or ideally, frequently) post a verse of the day.... one i've read that stood out.
today's is Hosea 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?"
I thought it very pointed, and it echoes verses elsewhere that declare that death is swallowed up in victory!
"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Cor 15:55
